Emmerdale fans believe they’ve exposed Dylan Penders’ real dad, and it’s not Eli Dingle or Ray Walters.
The youngster recently returned to the village after a stint in rehab and is currently under the employment of villain Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), who tasked him with scouting Butlers Farm for narcotics.
However, things took a turn when a masked Dylan encountered a terrified Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn), who stabbed him with a pitchfork, reports Belfast Live.
After refusing medical attention, Dylan’s wound soon became infected, leading Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) to reluctantly treat him at the veterinary clinic and offer him temporary accommodation.
In Tuesday’s episode (5th August), now available on ITVX, Dylan disregarded a message from Ray whilst enjoying breakfast with Paddy and Mandy (Lisa Riley).
Later, at the Woolpack, Paddy, Rhona (Zoe Henry), and Marlon (Mark Charnock) were taken aback to discover that Dylan was the intruder that Kyle had attacked.
Rhona was livid and wanted to inform Moira (Natalie J Robb), but Paddy and Marlon persuaded her otherwise.
Meanwhile, Dylan covertly met up with Ray, who offered him another job. Dylan was then relieved when the drug dealer accepted his refusal.
However, it appears Ray has devised another scheme involving Dylan, as he menacingly observed the youngster strolling through the village with April.
During a telephone conversation, Ray remarked: “The lad’s doing well. He’s found some local vet to take him in.
“Even got himself a girlfriend, heartwarming stuff, bless him. Oh yeah, she’s sweet, innocent, and all the rest. She can definitely be useful to us.”
Now, numerous Emmerdale fans are certain that Dylan may share a significant link with a legendary resident, with many proposing he could be the offspring of Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher).
Andy, who is already dad to Sarah (Katie Hill) and Jack (Seth Ball), famously went on the run in 2016 after being falsely accused of shooting Lawrence White (John Bowe).
“Could Dylan be Andy Sugden’s son? I know people are thinking he’s a Dingle,” one viewer posted on a Facebook fan page.
“Yess Dylan could be the reason why Andy comes back to the village,” another contributed, whilst a third commented: “This would be a great twist.”
