The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 7, reveal that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will take matters into his own hands for Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) sake. It’s not fair for Summer to be prosecuted over something Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) dragged her into – at least that’s how Daniel sees it!
Since Phyllis will be reluctant to take the deal Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) is offering, Daniel will go over her head and meet with her lawyer.
Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is also Daniel’s ex, so he’ll sit down with her to explain the Summer situation and hope she’ll do him a favor.
Daniel might act like Phyllis is too stubborn to see that Christine’s deal is the best option. Perhaps Daniel will think Heather has to be the one to talk Phyllis into moving forward with this.
As far as Daniel’s concerned, Phyllis shouldn’t roll the dice when she could plead guilty and ensure that Summer doesn’t face charges.
Daniel may worry this is Summer’s last chance to stay out of jail.
However, Heather may disagree about Christine’s deal being the right call. Regardless, Phyllis is the client that Heather signed on to represent, so she’ll feel obligated to put her first.
Over with Phyllis, she’ll take a huge gamble. Phyllis is hoping to avoid prison and protect Summer as well, but pulling all that off won’t be easy.
Fortunately, Phyllis’ ace in the hole could still come in handy.
Despite Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) initial reluctance to accept Phyllis’ upper hand, he may relent after meeting with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and deliver Carson (Walter Belenky) to her.
Of course, it’s possible Phyllis will consider taking Christine’s deal – only to change her mind once Carson shows up ready to testify.
It’s easy to imagine Phyllis almost signing some paperwork before her star witness EMT comes out of hiding and stops her.
Other Y&R spoilers say Adam will turn his attention to a different blackmail victim.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is implicated in the record label scandal that affects Tucker, so Adam will lay out all the facts and warn that she’ll go down if she doesn’t obey orders.
Despite Audra’s efforts to convince Adam to back off, he’ll feel like he’s got her right where he wants her.
Adam may turn Audra into his puppet at Newman Media and coerce her to make the moves he has in mind.
This could be part of Adam’s larger plan to fold Newman Media into the merger he’s part of, so stick with us for updates on his latest scheme.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Audra will be blindsided thanks to Adam’s bad news, so stay tuned to see how she’ll handle the looming crisis.
