Emmerdale’s Kim Tate (Claire King) is set to face some tough questions after being carted off by police during late husband Will Taylor’s (Dean Andrews) eventful funeral on Tuesday.
Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) reported her stepmother to the authorities after finding a video of her late father claiming that if he was dead, it would have been because Kim killed him.
As fans of the ITV soap know, Will died on Christmas Day after suffering a heart attack, following his and Kim’s vow renewal.
The character suffered severe chest pains and collapsed to the floor, just moments after Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) informed Kim that Will had been secretly scheming to take her down.
Kim initially smirked as she watched on, believing Will was suffering from a panic attack. But when it became clear things were much more serious, she tearfully performed CPR, desperately trying to save her husband’s life.
In the middle of his crusade against Kim, Will had recorded a video message for his daughter claiming that Kim had previously hired Ross Barton (Michael Parr) to finish him off.
Upon learning about this during Tuesday’s episode, Dawn confronted Ross in the village, where he admitted Kim wanted Will out of town but she didn’t want him to actually be hurt.

Dawn remained suspicious of Kim, however, and shared her concerns with husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle), who was much less convinced of any involvement from Kim in Will’s demise.
Undeterred, Dawn later made a scene at Will’s funeral, branding Kim a ‘murdering bitch’ in the middle of her eulogy to her late husband.
After a row ensued, Dawn stormed out of the church and was determined to prove Kim was involved.
