Emmerdale’s Olivia Bromley has shared a sweet tribute to former co-star Dean Andrews following his final performance as Will Taylor.
Andrews, who joined Emmerdale in 2019. dramatically departed the ITV soap in the Boxing Day (December 26) episode.
Will passed away following a heart attack, which had occurred after a bitter row with his wife Kim. The scenes proved to be a shock for fans as Andrews’ departure was kept secret.
Now Bromley, who plays Will’s daughter Dawn, has paid tribute to her former co-star with a heartfelt post on Instagram.

“End of an era @deanoandrews… The best soap dad I could have ever asked for. Truly,” she wrote.
“Thanks for covering up murders, beating up bad boyfriends and letting me live in your mansion rent-free. Here’s to the Taylors.”
The post, which included a photo featuring Bromley and Andrews with their co-stars on set, received a warm response from fans and followers in the comment section.
One wrote: “@oliviabromley_ I’m shocked. Can’t believe he’s gone. @deanoandrews you were a great actor.”
“@deanoandrews will be truly missed in the screen. Shame he’s been killed off,” added a second fan, with a third writing: “I’m so peeved that they killed him off. I was so hoping it was an extravagant-only-in-soap set up.”

Others also expressed their hopes that the development was a ruse and that it’s part of a larger plan to bring Kim down.
Moments before her row with Will, which took place hours after they’d renewed their wedding vows at Home Farm, Joe Tate had returned and revealed Will’s plans to take revenge on Kim.
Joe, who was present when Will died, has faced scrutiny from old enemies including Charity, who’s suspicious about why he’s decided to return to the village now.
Dawn’s husband Billy Fletcher also shared some of those concerns – sharing more of the Tates’ backstory with her, including the revelation that Kim tried to have Joe murdered several years ago.
Upcoming scenes will see an explosive row at Will’s funeral after Dawn finds a video on a USB stick in which her dad accuses Kim of being responsible for his death.
