However, Cash turned down Xander’s offer to partner, ultimately deciding to sell the business to McKenzie, who became the sole owner. Though disappointed at first, Xander realized this might not be the direction he truly wanted to pursue. Instead, he decided to focus on his studies, enrolling in a business course with the hope of one day starting his own venture.
Xander’s course required him to complete a six-week internship, but he found himself in a tight spot when he realized he’d waited until the last minute to secure one. That’s when Mac stepped in, offering him a position that had opened up in Melbourne. It wasn’t the perfect situation – the internship was just days away from starting – but the opportunity seemed too good to pass up. Xander was hesitant to leave Dana behind, but she encouraged him to follow his dream, reminding him that the distance was minimal and that it was only for six weeks.
