Nick has polished every detail: the champagne chilling below deck, the ring box tucked carefully in his pocket, and the secluded route mapped out to end under the golden glow of the setting sun. BUT what begins as a dreamy escape quickly veers into nightmare territory when Nick notices something off about the vessel’s engine just before departure! Despite the warning signs, he brushes them aside, too focused on the moment he’s crafted, too determined to win back the woman he’s never truly let go of.

As the boat glides out into open waters with Brooke by his side, the mood is tender, nostalgic. Brooke is visibly torn, swept up in the charm and familiarity of Nick’s presence, even as her heart remains tied in knots between him and Ridge. “I never stopped loving you, Brooke,” Nick murmurs as they drift further from shore. She doesn’t reply, just meets his gaze, conflicted and searching. But before he can pull out the ring and speak the words he’s rehearsed, the boat lurches violently! A loud groan from the hull, followed by the engine sputtering and dying, sends panic through the air. Within minutes, the romantic fantasy gives way to chaos. The boat starts taking on water fast!

Back on shore, Ridge, who has been growing increasingly uneasy about Nick’s intentions, receives a frantic call about the incident. Without a second thought, he dives into the water himself, desperate to find Brooke. He spots her, barely conscious, floating amidst the debris. With everything in him, he pulls her to safety, gasping as she coughs up sea water and sobs into his arms. “Nick! Nick’s still out there!” she cries weakly. Ridge’s face hardens as he scans the waves, but there’s no sign of Nick.

 The Search Begins: Hope Dwindles As Night Falls!

Emergency crews arrive and begin a full search, but minutes stretch into hours, and hope dwindles. As night falls, Ridge remains at Brooke’s side, torn between the relief of having her safe and the guilt gnawing at him over Nick’s possible fate.

In the hospital, Brooke clutches Ridge’s hand, her voice shaking. “He was trying to do something beautiful, and now he might be gone.” Meanwhile, word of the accident spreads rapidly back home. Donna and Katie reel from the news.
