The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn’t aired on ITV yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) revenge plan against Kim Tate (Claire King) really didn’t end the way she expected in Emmerdale.
Following the death of her dad Will (Dean Andrews), Dawn convinced herself that Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) was responsible for his demise. She then found a USB stick with a video on it from Will, which featured him saying Kim killed him.
Dawn decided to get revenge by drugging Kim with ketamine. In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, the Home Farm resident suddenly realised she had fallen unwell after drinking some coffee.
The scenes saw Kim flick between hallucinating Will but also seeing Dawn. When she saw Dawn, Kim was pushed into revealing her feud with Will, which began after she learnt he had slept with Rose.
Dawn’s plot pushed Kim to the very edge. She cried and said that she loved Will, but her view of him changed because he completely broke her heart.
Frustratingly, despite the fact Kim was telling the truth, it wasn’t enough for Dawn. Convinced there was more to the story, Dawn glanced at Kim but realised she was unconscious.
This happened just as Joe returned to Home Farm. He helped Kim by laying her down, but instructed Dawn to call an ambulance when she started having a seizure.

In hospital, a paranoid Dawn started to fear she’d be going to prison. Surprisingly, when questioned by the police, Kim covered for Dawn and said her overdose was a ‘cry for help’ after the past few weeks.
When Joe and Dawn arrived in the hospital room, Kim told Dawn they need to start again and support each other moving forward.
